Cohort 26 celebrate the end of their Work Readiness Course

Congratulations to the Fab 14 - the 26th cohort of young people to complete our Work Readiness Course on the Steps to Work programme.

Over eight weeks, these young people have worked on their employability skills, polished their CVs and grown in confidence. Yesterday, they stood up in front of their families and peers and delivered speeches about their journey. It was fantastic to see how far they have come

Thank you to everyone who came to cheer them on, and to our honorary president Julia Baird for joining the celebration.

We couldn't be prouder. Next stop: their first work placements here at Strawberry Field. Some will work in the kitchen, some will join the housekeeping team and others will take on front of house roles in the Strawberry Field gift shop and cafe. If you see them, please do offer works of encouragement and tell them how well they are doing.
