Celebrate 90 Years of Strawberry Field
On 7 July 1936, The Salvation Army opened a children’s home at Strawberry Field, later immortalised by John Lennon in The Beatles hit song 'Strawberry Fields Forever'.
Today, this iconic Liverpool site continues to support young people and the local community.
Help us celebrate 90 years of impact by getting involved. For 90 days following our 90th anniversary, we are asking our supporters to help us fundraise to support our work.
Choose your 90 challenge
There are lots of ways you can support us – here’s some ideas to get you started.
ÂŁ90 for 90 Years
Raise at least ÂŁ90 to help us continue our vital work.
How you could do it:
- Walk, run or cycle 90 miles and ask friends to sponsor you
- Host a bake sale, coffee morning or community event
- Take on a sponsored challenge or organised event
- Celebrate a birthday or milestone by fundraising instead of gifts
- Organise something at work such as a quiz night, raffle or plant sale
- Or simply donate ÂŁ90
