'Meet and greet' volunteer achieves paid employment at Strawberry Field

We are delighted that 'Meet and Greet' volunteer Steven has achieved paid employment at Strawberry Field.

Ste has volunteered at Strawberry Field for a couple of years after completing our Steps to Work programme and has always gone above and beyond. It's fantastic to have him on the Strawberry Field team, but now as a work colleague!

Gavin Cliffe, volunteer coordinator at Strawberry Field says, "I am delighted that Steven has achieved his goal of paid employment here at Strawberry Field. He is a fantastic example of what a volunteer should be, as he is committed, reliable, and motivated to succeed. Steven is multi-lingual and really pushes the boundaries of his greeting role by tailoring his language studies to fit his role. He has learnt phrases linked to our products and services so that he can promote them to our visitors from around the world. Welcome aboard Steven!"
