Victoria Gallery & Museum

Until August 2026, Victoria Gallery & Museum will host Toxteth: The Harlem of Europe, an exhibition that celebrates the Black musicians from Toxteth in the 1950s and 60s who shaped Liverpool's music scene. Presented in partnership with Mandela8 and Norther Roots, the exhibition features archival photos, portraits and stories of local musicians like Joe Ankrah, The Chants, The Real Thing and more.
