Strawberry Field officially welcomes new Mission Director

Strawberry Field was delighted to officially welcome its new Mission Director, Major Michelle Lovegrove-Huggins, at her Installation and Dedication Ceremony, led by Divisional Leaders Majors Ian and Tracey Mountford.

Major Chelle joined the Strawberry Field team last year as Associate Mission Director, under Major Kathleen Versfeld's leadership. Over the last 12 months, Chelle has been getting to know the site, the team and the community, ready to take on her new appointment as Mission Director.

During the Installation and Dedicated Ceremony, Major Michelle promised to give her time, creative energy and love to build a kingdom of community for all who enter the Strawberry Field gates. 

Major Michelle said, “I feel like my whole life has been leading up to this moment! There is a wonderful team at Strawberry Field who are each special in their own way, but together are capable of greatness. They have achieved so much already but we’re ready to imagine more.”

 We look forward to this new chapter under Chelle's leadership and the greatness that is yet to come.
