The 'Lejogers' cycle Land's End to John O'Groats to raise funds for Recycles
Phil Doragh, project coordinator at Recycles Merseyside, is cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats with friends in a bid to raise ÂŁ5,000 for the bike recycling project. Phil, Dan Prior and Ian Clark will take on the near 1,000-mile journey in September, joined by Pete Court from Bristol to Kendal and Phil Berridge from Liverpool to Scotland. They will be accompanied by drivers Adam Dury, Andrea Court, Julia Prior and Will Sopwith, who will drive the stretch in relay to assist and support the cyclists.

Recycles Merseyside is an initiative that provides training and volunteering opportunities to young people with learning differences and barriers to employment. Participants receive on-the-job mechanic training by refurbishing donated bikes, which are then sold back to the community. Established in 2016, Recycles provides key skills to benefit some of the most vulnerable people living in the area.
