Alan Seeley joins Steps to Strawberry Field as Chair of the Programme Advisory Group

17 Mar 2026

We’re delighted to welcome Alan Seeley as the new Chair of the Programme Advisory Group for Steps to Strawberry Field.

Over the past few months, Alan has been working closely with our programme, meeting our trainees and generously sharing his wealth of experience. It was fantastic to have him attend our Steps to Work 'Work Readiness' Celebration and our Steps at Strawberry Field graduation. From April, he will officially begin his role chairing our Programme Advisory group.

Alan brings a compassionate and steady voice to our work. Recently, he shared words of encouragement with trainees as they prepare for their next steps on the programme, a reflection of the care and support that sits at the heart of everything we do.

Alan Seeley, Honorary Chair at Knowsley Chamber Of Commerce said, "It was an absolute delight and pleasure to be part of Cohort 25's 'Work Readiness' celebration. Having had the opportunity to meet the students at one of their training sessions a few weeks before, to then see each one of them have so much confidence and style in sharing their reflections on the course and aspirations for the future was a real joy and inspiration.

The Steps to Work programme is so valuable to all those in need of encouragement and support when embarking on the world of work and employment. I am constantly in awe of both the students and the dedicated programme staff who deliver this fantastic success."

Welcome, Alan. We’re excited to move forward together as we continue supporting young people across Liverpool.
