Things to do in Liverpool between Christmas and New Year

The days between Christmas and New Year are the perfect time to slow down, spend time together and make the most of what Liverpool has to offer. Whether you’re looking to get outdoors, keep the kids entertained, or soak up a bit of culture and history, the city is full of great ways to enjoy the festive in-between days.

Boxing Day – Go for a Walk

Boxing Day is the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air and walk off the Christmas turkey. Liverpool offers plenty of parks and scenic riverside routes, with beautiful views and heritage trails to explore. 31 December – Visit Albert Dock

Albert Dock looks especially magical at this time of year, with twinkling lights reflecting on the water. With work and school just around the corner, treat yourself to a hot chocolate from Francie’s, a pastry from Rough Trade, or a meal that doesn’t involve leftover turkey.
